On the 20th, we celebrated 2 years of marriage! I can’t believe it has only been 2 years and that it has already been 2 years.

It is so fun to see how much we change and grow each year. Our first year, we saw a theme of figuring out how to live with each other and how our actions have been impacted by our parents. This past year, we have seen a theme of recognizing what personality quirks are innately us and how to understand them. We have grown in how we handle conflict with each other this year. We have reinforced how we each process information and what we need to do enter how each other processes. We are also becoming more understanding and appreciative of the differences in our personalities.

We have been so stressed and tired from this week at training that having Tuesday to get of the grounds was amazing. We borrowed a friend’s car and went to downtown Springs for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. We enjoyed going to a New Orleans restaurant, being able to process what we have been learning, and being able to walk around after.  We are excited about year number three and all the changes that will come in our understanding and communication and in our surroundings.
