Our time at Fuller Theological Seminary has flown by! We can’t believe that we are leaving soon and all our friends will be graduating and moving too. Sad times and “see you later”s to come but for now we party. The last 2 weekends have been a great time of fun and gatherings.
Jeff helped with several other groups on campus to put on an All Nations Banquet. It is kind of like a “taste of…” event. They had 25ish students/professors from different nationalities cook a dish from their country and we got several tickets to get little tastes of their dish. Jeff was in charge of coordinating the volunteers, so he was busy, but we were still able to enjoy the food and live music. This event was last done over 5 years ago, and I think everyone was excited to have it back and hope to do it again next year too. Everyone who helped cook the food and put on the event worked so hard, and it turned out wonderful!

Here is a picture of some of the food options. My favorite was a stew from Ghana, which I found out had goat in it. I didn’t know I liked goat but it was very yummy!

After All Nations Banquet craziness and 102 degree weather later that week, we decided it was time for some ice cream and an afternoon at the park.

Today was the party to celebrate Fuller’s President, Dr. Mouw, who is retiring after being president for 20 years. It was a picnic on the green on campus, with great live performances, and catering from Pie N Burger. ( you know we are there when it’s free food!)

For the next month, we will be living it up in the California sun and Jeff will be working hard to finish his quarter and enjoying times with friends. Tomorrow, I think we will be at the beach! woohoo!

Have fun, study hard (not necessarily in that order). Life flies by. Enjoy every dip of ice cream! Good to see you both are looking cool in your Team Mouw glasses!
So glad you two are getting a chance to live it up and relax a bit! I can only image how hard Jeff has been studying, you both deserve some play time. Glad to see your doing well and enjoy the next month…soon a new chapter will begin 🙂
Love you both,
Aunt Kim
